Jacob has been with Ecology Solutions for eight years and heads up the Manchester team. He has led on a series of large-scale and strategic development schemes within which ecology has been a key consideration.  His work has included the design of extensive habitat creation schemes in addition to the preparation and implementation of mitigation strategies for a wide range of protected species.  Jacob holds Natural England licences for bats and Great Crested Newts and currently advises on complex protected species licensing schemes for both regionally and nationally significant infrastructure projects.  Jacob has extensive experience in advising clients at all stages of the planning process and is particularly familiar with planning inquiries, having assisted in several high-profile schemes.  Jacob is also experienced in advising on designated sites issues and has experience of engaging with statutory consultees to agree a range of bespoke mitigation strategies for statutory and non-statutory designated sites.
