Dominic has been a Director at Ecology Solutions for 15 years and has extensive experience in the running and management of large-scale projects.  His work regularly includes designing habitat creation proposals for major development schemes, which often involve sensitive designated sites. Dominic has wide-ranging experience of negotiations with the statutory authorities which has secured significant strategic projects whilst also balancing ecological and other environmental issues. He specialises in protected species and holds Natural England and Natural Resources Wales licences for bats, Dormouse and Great Crested Newts, and is one of a small number of ecologists in England holding Low Impact Class licences for bats and Great Crested Newts. Dominic is also experienced as an expert witness and has given evidence at various planning appeals and local plan inquiries.
