Assessment of renewable energy programmes is a key specialism, and we have long experience in the delivery of wind turbine schemes, both for single and multiple turbine sites.  Typically survey work will focus on the assessment of impacts on bats and key bird species, though the effect of construction and infrastructure on associated habitats is also important.  Ecology Solutions is able to negotiate with statutory nature conservation agencies and local planning authorities to ensure compliance with relevant survey and assessment guidelines.  The North-South Interconnector project between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland is an example of recent project success.
