Ecological impact assessments

Ecology Solutions is experienced in the coordination and management of Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs) undertaken to identify, quantify and evaluate the potential effects of proposed developments on habitats, species and ecosystems.

These will be presented as a chapter within an Environmental Statement to inform an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).

Working closely with our clients and focused on the specific needs of their projects, our team of specialist ecologists seeks to ensure that development proposals can be accommodated within a site, aiming to find the balance between the exigencies of the development and the capacity of the receiving environment.

Throughout the assessment, we identify avoidance, mitigation and enhancement measures to meet planning policies and relevant legislation to gain consent.
