Ecology Solutions, led by Dominic Farmer, helped secure outline consent on appeal for mixed use development of up to 2,025 dwellings across the two sites together with 8.31 hectares of land for employment, a local centre of 0.33ha, two primary schools, open space, landscaping, parking and supporting infrastructure and utilities. The development incorporates Innsworth Meadows Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and involved detailed liaison with Natural England over potential hydrological and recreational effects on the SSSI and the population of Great Crested Newts using the local pond network. Ecology Solutions is currently retained to facilitate implementation of the detailed phases of development.
