• Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (England and Wales) Regulations 1999;

Particular expertise is held in regard to Appropriate Assessment in relation to designated European level sites, Impact Assessment relating to Sites of Special Scientific Interest and in regard to the whole range of protected species issues.

Ecology Solutions also regularly advise on the wider aspects of legislative interpretation. Recent experience relates to ‘Open Access’ under the CRoW Act 2000 and nuisance caused by pest species, as well as international and domestic Wildlife Trade (TRAFFIC) and Zoo Inspection issues, including appearing as expert witnesses as required.
